Advito Sr. Consultant - Airline
This position is responsible for the oversight, delivery and overall success of existing and new client projects. This involves managing and completing multiple client engagements simultaneously within timeline and budgetary guidelines. This requires an understanding of current industry state and trends, as well as the proprietary and third-party tools and technology which are used to conduct analyses, negotiate with suppliers and provide actionable recommendations to clients. This position will support sales efforts as requested including retentions and incremental sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Lead client engagements managing project to timelines, client expectations and resource budgets.
•Identify addition revenue opportunities with the client from both current and future engagements
•Educate clients on industry changes and issues, and current events.
•Prepare and conduct client presentations providing analysis and consultancy.
•Perform quality control metrics associated with project delivery.
•Conduct ad hoc analysis to accommodate specific client needs
•Maintain and update client project information and sales activities in Advito’s resource management tools
•Participate in initiatives to improve internal processes and expand service offerings
•Have understanding of analysts’ and consultants’ roles and responsibilities in project delivery
•Provide direction to team members that support client projects
•Exhibit proficiency with Advito proprietary and third-party tools used to conduct consulting analyses
•Stay abreast of industry trends and product changes
•Maintain constructive relationships with account and travel managers and share trends /industry changes
•Identify competitive threats and emerging problems
•Share best practices
Coaching and Mentoring
•Provide direction to team members that are supporting client projects
•Manage team members for each project engagement to ensure quality and timely delivery
•Provide feedback on team members' performance
•Identify training opportunities for team members and coordinate with training resources as needed
•Participate in training as the SME as appropriate
Sales and Marketing
•Support department's business development and marketing efforts with client renewals and by cross selling additional services
•Assist in creating proposals based on the Advito pricing model
Process and Product Improvement
•Participate in process and tool improvement initiatives
•Engage in knowledge sharing and best practice sharing
•Provide support for internal Advito projects
•Track and report project hours in Advito resource management tool
Characteristics & Competencies:
•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
•Demonstrated ability to work with diverse, cross functional international teams
•Well-developed problem solving and decision making capabilities
•Self-motivated and goal oriented
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•BS/BA degree or equivalent relevant work experience
•5+ years travel supplier/agency management experience in industry relations, sales, account management, or financial analysis
•Experience with pricing/yield management and/or scheduling and project management
•Advanced analytical skills
•Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word software skills
•Access dBase experience a plus
•Knowledge of industry supplier corporate discount programs
•Experience with airline faring, GDS
•Exposure to techniques for building client relationships
