- Job Summary * :
Performs evaluations of complex agribusiness operations, including management, crop growing, livestock, processing, and equipment, verifies collateral and analyzes customer supplied cash flows for the securing and repaying of loans as provided in the Bank’s agribusiness lending policy.
Major Responsibilities: *
Evaluates and verifies cash flow projections on complex agribusiness operations. Reconciles cash flow projections to actual results on interim and renewal bases.
Evaluates collateral for complex agribusiness loans prior to loan inception and as requested throughout the term of the loan.
Reviews appraisals performed on complex operations by fee appraisers, for real estate secured loans.
Performs visual interim inspections as requested and as deemed necessary by credit management to verify progress.
Maintains current knowledge on agricultural matters including market conditions, government regulations, water issues, weather patterns and technological changes in order to provide optimum objective input to the loan decision.
Reviews fieldwork of other Agricultural Services Representatives and performs other Agricultural Services Department duties.
Experience in planting, growing, harvesting and managing commercial agricultural crops.
5 years of farming experience preferred. We may consider a recent grad in Agribusiness who has knowledge and experience in farming, and all phases of farm operations.
Knowledge of and first-hand experience in commercial farm crop operations and budgets, including revenues (crop prices, yields, etc.) and expenses (payroll, equipment, etc.) required
Proficient in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of Internet usage for research.
Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or Finance a plus
