The Controller will be a full-time employment opportunity and will be located in the Fresno, California region. Your responsibilities - Manage daily cash and prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals - Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis - Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation - Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts - Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Give executive committee and partners monthly financial reports - Occasionally perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities - Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation - Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Assure client expectations are met by reviewing deliverables of self and team - Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time
