The full-time Controller position is situated in the Visalia, California area. The ideal candidate for this position can plan and direct all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff. This role's duties will require effectively managing self and others within strict time constraints when providing client services, leading while also being a team player, generating innovative ideas, and challenging the status quo. What you get to do every day - Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management - Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation - Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners - Capable of handling responsibilities beyond formal job duties - Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations G/L analysis - Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection - Work closely with executive team and partners to facilitate efficient and effective firm-wide operation - Ensure client satisfaction by reviewing deliverables of self and team - Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis For more information contact Tyler Houk on LinkedIn! https://www.linkedin.com/in/tyler-houk-0592aa85/
